Night de Light, a Christian band based in the city of Sapporo, has been sharing the gospel through music for the past 20 years. Three of the band's four members are pastors, and one of their greatest joys is visiting local elementary schools to bring a message of hope to children. Before the band performed, a representative from a suicide prevention hotline spoke about the beauty and value of life, encouraging students to seek help when life becomes difficult. The children listened with remarkable seriousness and attention. Then the band took the stage. Instantly, the atmosphere changed. The children were on their feet, clapping along from beginning to end. Through music that connected with their everyday experiences, the message of Christ was shared in a way that they could understand and enjoy. Give thanks to the Father for musicians who faithfully communicate the good news through song!
