However, only Afar men are permitted to enter the mosques. Many Afar women are pious, but none of them can set foot in their religious buildings. Instead, women practice their prayers privately at home and hear religious teachings and news secondhand from their husbands, brothers, and other male family members. Furthermore, Muslim women are considered to be unclean during their monthly cycles and cannot pray or participate in any religious activities during that time. Please pray for Afar women, and ask the Father to draw them to Himself. Pray that they will hear and understand the gospel and accept Christ's cleansing once and for all so they can come before the Father at any time.
